This smelt is individually frozen, making it easy to thaw in small portions. This is a Grade B product because it is normally packaged in 1 kg bags for human consumption, and some of these bags have been opened and are therefore no longer suitable for retail sale. The bags are well packed in a 10 kg box, so this is not an issue. Due to the packaging process, the fish may be slightly damaged, but this does not affect the nutritional value.
