• Hang the KNZ salt lick near a water source on a well traveled trail.
• Do not place the lick directly on the ground, but on a log or stump approximately 1 meter (3 feet) above the ground.
• The base of the lick should have a diameter of at least 15 cm (6 inches).
• Fix the salt lick with a stick or nail through the center hole. This way, diluted salt can run down the tree trunk and can be utilized by smaller animals.
