Eurasian eagle-owls are a carnivorous species who hunt for different prey species. A large part of their diet consist out of vertebrates such as small mammals and birds. A smaller fraction consists of reptiles, amphibians and insects. Opportunistically, fish are also consumed.

  • Divide the “Feed quantity per day” over one feeding moment per day.
  • When feeding thawed whole prey, then supplementation is recommended.
  • The supplements should be given according to the appropriate dosage that is mentioned on the labelling.
