As a supplier of feeds for exotic animals, we feel a responsibility to do something for exotic wildlife. We have therefore become a partner of Save the Rhino www. https://www.savetherhino.org/ . This is an international organization dedicated to protecting all 5 species of rhino. Rhinos are seriously threatened in their survival because of poaching. Every year many rhinos are shot for their horn. In several Asian countries they think that the horn is a miracle cure for all kinds of health issues. A kg of rhinoceros horn is more expensive than a kg of gold, while the horn consists of keratin. The same protein our hair is made of. So it is purely ‘between the ears’ of the people. But how to to make that clear to them?
