Royal pythons, also known as ball pythons are carnivores. Their diet primarily consists of small mammals and birds. Often these are swallowed as whole and digested over a longer period of time.

Diet suggestions

Additional advice

The amount of feed mentioned at “Feed quantity per day” should only be fed once a week.
The supplements should be given according to the appropriate dosage that is mentioned on the labelling.
Foraging behaviour can be stimulated by dispersing the food throughout the enclosure (read more about feed enrichment and foraging behaviour).
